Emily is a 2024 graduate from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness. She currently attends the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law, where she is projected to graduate in May 2027. 

Emily is involved in multiple organizations, including serving as a 1L and 2L Legislative Representative on the Student Bar Association and a Women in Law member.

Ethan recently graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, accompanied by a concentration in Global Politics. He competed at the AMCA Moot Court Competition at the regional level and completed studies in different aspects of the legal field. Ethan plans to attend law school and is expanding his legal knowledge and experience while working at our firm.

From Lancaster, South Carolina, Avery is a 2024 graduate of Presbyterian College where she double majored in Political Science and History and minored in Psychology. While in undergrad, Avery held multiple leadership positions for Alpha Delta Pi sorority and served on the Panhellenic Council. She also served as Honor Council Chair and was a member of the college’s Student Ambassador program for four years. She is currently taking a gap year with aspirations of attending law school.

Ellie is a 2022 graduate from the University of South Carolina with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Psychology. In undergrad, Ellie was involved in various organizations and graduated with Leadership Distinction in Professional and Civic Engagement. She now attends the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law and is projected to graduate in May of 2026. Ellie currently serves as a Student Ambassador for the law school and is a member of Women in Law.

Bri is a 2022 graduate from Wofford College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She currently attends the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law, where she is projected to graduate in May of 2025 with a J.D. and a concentration in children’s law. During her time in law school, Bri has been involved in numerous organizations, including the Family Law Society. She has also served as a Research Assistant for Professor S. Bauries.

Will is a recent graduate from Presbyterian College (PC) with a major in Political Science and minor in Psychology. He grew up in Alabama, went to High School in Florida, and the opportunity to attend and play Division 1 baseball at PC landed him here in South Carolina. During his senior year of college, Will participated in an internship at a law office local to PC. Will has grown tremendously during his time with our firm and will be attending the Paul M. Hebert Law Center “LSU Law” at Louisiana State University this fall as a member of the class of 2027.

LaBarron is a 2021 alumnus of the esteemed Claflin University, where he completed a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology. He is currently enrolled at the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law, where he is anticipated to earn his Juris Doctorate with a concentration in children’s law by May 2025. Throughout his law school experience, LaBarron has actively participated in various organizations, including serving as Vice President of the Family Law Society and as Vice Chair at the regional level of the Black Law Student Association, among other roles.
Prior to his tenure as a law clerk at Ashby Jones and Associates LLC, he completed an externship with the Honorable Mary Geiger-Lewis in the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. LaBarron also served as a student attorney at the University of South Carolina’s Domestic Violence Clinic, where he managed cases related to orders of protection and U-Visa applications.
